Hypoglycaemia can be defined as when the blood glucose levels go below normal that is 70 mg/dl. It can be a common complication of Diabetes Mellitus where insulin therapy plays a pivotal role in maintaining blood glucose levels. Insulin dosage leads to fluctuations in sugar levels which can cause hypoglycaemia. However, it can happen to an ordinary individual too. Sudden decrease in blood glucose levels can lead to fatigue, weakness and mental confusion.
