Adam Scoggins Debut View Site

Left-handed Adam Scoggins Debut was made with the Great Lakes Loons on 21 April after he got signed by the Dodgers serving as an undrafted free agent in July, 2021 from oral Roberts University. Adam is the first of the 11 undrafted free agents for Dodgers to be assigned to the High-A level category. The second member of the same undrafted agents is Shortstop Austin Gauthier who is currently signed with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. 

Scoggins finally got a chance to show his true potential in 2021 when he played for ORU Golden Eagles, finishing with a 3-1 score and a 2.88 ERA. He also stroked out 45 batters and walked 13.

He pitched a scoreless inning in his High-A debut on 21st April, with a single walk and strikeout. The baseball player uses his fastball and slider capabilities while working on either side of the plate while using the split-finger pitch sparingly.
